Air Transport of Dangerous Goods – Acceptance Course

The Air Transport of Dangerous Goods Acceptance Course meets all the Civil Air Safety Authority requirements for registration to ship or accept dangerous goods by air transport.
It covers identification and handling, relevant information for all involved personnel, safety precautions and equipment, and compliance with the applicable statutory requirements. The course is aligned to the Competency Standards contained within National Training Packages.
This course may include some or all of the following delivery modes: classroom, online/eLearning, workplace or blended options.
The duration of this course is 2 days. The course is delivered at 15 Barrie Rd, Tullamarine VIC, or can be delivered at other suitable workplaces by arrangement.
Assessment is conducted using the mandated assessment tool set by the Regulator, which requires a reasonable command of English and basic numeracy skills.
Note: If you have already completed an Acceptance Course, you may be eligible to complete the Air Transport of Dangerous Goods Re-Certification Course.

There are no pre-requisites for this initial Air Transport of Dangerous Goods Acceptance Course.
Note: If you have already completed an Acceptance Course for air transport, you may be eligible to complete the Air Transport of Dangerous Goods Re-Certification Course.
On successful completion of this course, you will be issued with a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment with the relevant Units of Competency.
